The food and drinks were delicious, and the portion sizes were reasonable for the price. However, the presentation didn’t match the menu. The chicken fried rice with XO sauce wasn’t spicy at all, but it tasted good, especially the scrambled egg in it.
As for the mala chicken, at first, we thought the portion size was decent, but more than half of the dish was just dried chilies. The chicken itself had a lot of bones, almost like leftover pieces, making it very hard to eat. You had to be really careful, though the flavor was nice.
The best dish was the Shandong chicken—crispy and well-cooked. The lemon tea also tasted great. The only real disappointment was the mala chicken; while it tasted good, it had very little meat and was difficult to eat.

We had the cheaper options just for a quick lunch. Staff playing on phone and eatting the entire time.
Meat very fatty
Lots of noodle
Broth in other places has more flavour.
Not sire of we would go back or not with so many options in the area.

This restaurant is a great find. The food was fresh and crisp. The eggplant was great, the vegetables were fresh and tasty and the sweet and sour prawns were generous. Their specialty is apparently steamed fish which looked amazing at the table next to us. It felt very comfortable eating there

Absolutely delicious! Very nice Shandong food. In a suburb highly populated by Cantonese speakers, I’m elated to find a northern style restaurant that serves surprisingly scrumptious food! I’m surprised by the portion of serve - very generous! The mackerel dumplings are so wonderful and they are gigantic (about 9 cm wide)! Will definitely return. So nice!
